Hi Mella,
I grow the yellow pear tomatoes up in Mountain View. It's growing just as vigorously as my cherry tomato plant. I'm also having great success with tomatillos. I got the veg. starts from "Paradise Plants". I love that place.

So Kapohocat, what is the future plan for your next batch of tomatoes other than proper moisture. Will you feed occasionally?
Here I feed the tomatoes just twice once at the beginning and then again half way thru their season. I use fish emulsion and it seems to do the job, however we don't have any rain here during the growing season, just the irrigation we do.
