I would like to find a Hilo Attorney to do new wills and a trust for us. If anyone has used someone here and is happy, please let us know. Mahalo.

Try speaking with Paul Booth, 808 969-9110. He focuses on estate planning and offers a no-cost initial consultation. (I know him personally and have worked with him recently. He also very active with the Bamboo Society and lives in Puna.)

Hi,Pam. It's been my experience that most wills and trusts are pretty much boilerplate and an attorney most likely isn't needed.
Before shelling out the buck$ for a Hilo J.D. you might give
http://www.legalzoom.com/ on the web a shot, or if you're not comfortable with that idea,
Quicken Willmaker Plus 2009 software will do the job just as well for around $60. Legal in all 50 states either way.
aloha,
Gene
