Some of you have seen my posts and have wondered what funkstopping is about. I'm reluctant to advertise on this forum but a number of you have encouraged me to do so.
So...(he hesitates)...ahem...here we go...
Funkstoppers is a chemical free odor elimination service. We do not get rid of funky music or dancing. Nor do we eliminate funky people. Don't worry about your funky looking clothes either.
What we do is bring in several Ozone generators into a home and seal it up. The generator then, rips apart the oxygen molecules (O2), and combines them with others to create a highly unstable form of oxygen, O3 or Ozone. The ozone being unstable wants to shed its third atom and the easiest way is to latch on to some organic molecule like formaldehyde or ureic acid. The molecule is then broken down.
As a bonus it also works at breaking down the molecular structure of the membrane of a microorganism, thus sterilizing a room. It will knock mildew odors for a loop.
