Just another report in. Crowded? Yep. Lots of really good beer? Yep. Lots of really good food? Yep.
I've been to a few beer "tasting" extravaganzas and this one easily had the best food out of any. I might be biased, but I tend to like beer pretty much wherever I am.
The price was a little bit steeper than I'd care for, but the music, Bolo & others, and the food made it worthwhile.
All those NorCal microbreweries took me back to college where they kept scheduling the darn brew festival the weekend before finals. All that did is keep the students who cared away. Anyway, it was well worth it to try some really great beers and sample a lot of the Big Island restaurants -I'll be back next year.
Cheers,
Sean
