Lin... right place... wrong time.

I bought 4 plates to take home today at the Pahoa Spring Jamm today.

I can't give you the exact hours... I'm not involved in the Huli Business.

I have seen the cart at Maku'u Farmers Market for the last couple weeks during the lunch rush time.

I'm sure Tom will weigh in here when he see's this thread.

My guess is that they weren't open on Friday of this week because they were preparing for Today's Pahoa Jamm?

But that's just a guess.

Tom and Steve... I'm sure you have heard this more then I did....

But early in the day... someone wanted a whole chicken....

And then later on about 4:30... I noticed someone I know personally talked to you about getting a whole chicken but they weren't available.

I think the whole chicken to go would be a good thing at something like today.

I also think it would be a good thing for the Makuu place.

Just my $.02 Cents.

Damon,

Thanks, and your $0.02 is well noted. Steve wants to sell only plate lunch and Makuu did not work out for him, so he is relocating to Shipmens industrial area. Steve will be working there Mon thru Fri starting Tuesday. I believe that whole chicken is a must here to stay with the tradition of Huli Huli chicken, so I have decided to build another Huli Huli grill that will cook whole chickens only. I will still be working with Steve but maybe only two days a week. So all of you Punatic stay tuned until I get it built.

Shipman would actually work better for us. I'd like to try again. Can you tell me where in Shipman to look; and, will he have regular hours, or will it just be catch as catch can? Mahalo.

Stopped by Shipman's today 1 p.m. - Thai Smile, Gina's Plate Lunch, no Huli Huli Chicken - has there been another change of venue?

Lin W,

I am in the process of building a roto system on the Huli Huli grill and have ordered the parts from the mainland. This will enable us to sell whole chickens one or two days a week. Please stand by until I get it completed and thank you for stopping by.
