Did my best grandpa work at the abc store, hilo hatties (sp?) coming in a distant second imho

Longs, Walmart & Sears for chain stuff in Hilo (I know they have had in the past...

also try the quilt shop in downtown Hilo, the infant store on Keawe, and Mauna Loa Mac Nut shop, maybe even Zig Zane if you want to go $$

Try KD's Gifts and Crafts on Kilauea. She has some really nice things.185 Kilauea Ave. 935-8999. Mostly locally made items.

The small merchants are good to support if they are in the budget.
Of the others, both Macy's and Sears carry "made in Hawai'i" infant sized aloha shirts. Surprisingly perhaps, the ones at Sears are quite nice and come with shorts as sets. Hilo Hatties is an icky store IMHO. Macy's is the best store for finding clearance that is dirt cheap or a good sale on non-clearance.
