Aunty, that's exactly what I did last night. Thanks for being the neighborhood watch coordinator.

There sure are a lot of people here who don't know anyone involved who are quick to blame the victims.
The other possibility is that these were not people the victims knew, but just people who heard gossip (correct or incorrect) that they had pot there. These kinds of bottom feeders also are known for hitting the wrong place. We used to live next door to a duplex that had lowlifes running meth and stole goods through the place. The duplex next door to it ended up being robbed at gunpoint by morons who had heard there were drugs and money at a duplex on that street and hit the wrong place. So don't jump to the conclusion that these guys even went to the right place.

There would be no pot-related crimes if pot weren't a crime.

I understand the sentiment, However sayings like this that can be disproved in 2 seconds don't help.
people are robbed for money all the time and having money is not a crime.

808, illegal money attracts crime way of association, and it was in that spirit that I made my sentiment. Look at the crime associated with alcohol prohibition in the 20's (turf wars, shootouts, hijackings etc.). The only crime associated with liquor today is after it's consumed and it's something that wouldn't occur if pot were legal.
