Do any of you folks have kids going to this school. Or does anybody know anything about Kua o ka La? I'm trying to find out if it's open to all races, or if it's just for Hawaiians. Does anyone know about this?
mahalo..

It is a native Hawaiian culture start-up public charter school, it is not a Hawaiian language immersion, but there is more opportunity to speak Hawaiian. The info on that is:

My kids went there. Good school, Hawaiian culturally driven, but open to all races.

thank you both Carey and Greg. It unfortunate, but I rolled the dice a few years ago and put my one kid in school with 'Waters of Life'. Though this school was filled with many drawbacks mostly caused by previous school administrator mishandling of school. My son exceled there. But sadly their doors closed this past Friday because of a shortage of funds to operate.
So I need to find him a school ASAP, otherwise I have to home school for the last six weeks or of the school year, and this school comes highly reccomended.

Beachboy, I understand that they are kicking right back into gear for the Summer School session at Waters of Life.....

hit the floor each morning, the devil says
"Oh Crap, She's up!"
