Charles Djou has been declared the winner of the three way race for the congressional seat Neil Abercrombie vacated for his run for governor. This is a short term position up for election again in November but Djou will find himself running as an incumbent at the end of the year.
Hanabusa and Case appear to have split the Democratic vote making way for Djou to pull ahead. Djou received 40% of the vote, Hanabusa received 31% and Case received 28%.
