Neil Returning to Puna, East Hawaii
#1
Neil Abercrombie is returning to Puna to meet and talk. He'll be at HPP Center this Saturday from 5-7pm.

Also, Volcano Farmer's Market, Sunday, 7:30-8:30 a.m.

For more information call and/or stop in at the Hilo Headquarters, 116 Keawe, phone 935-8126.

I think Neil is the only gubernatorial candidate to ever visit us here in Puna. I had the pleasure of playing at his last Puna appearance at Kalani, which was well attended. Was very impressed by what I heard from him on all he issues discussed. Now, he's coming back for a second visit. Nice!

What question would you ask him? I would ask him, Why is our Federal Spending, is as it is, read link,

Only 1% goes towards Development, Dipolmacy, and War Prevention,

Whalesong,

Absolutely!

When he was at Kalani, he mostly answered questions relating to Puna and addressed the need for real levels of funding for our area.

Quite a few people asked about cannabis policy, which is a litmus test of sorts for many voters. He passed those and all questions with flying colors and received a standing ovation at the end.

Great question and if you can, maybe go to the HPP meeting and sound him out.
