Hey, Sparky Monk & I spent a gloriously lighted evening downtown in HIlo, No power outage there at all....
Wonderful(sp) time watching "Shakespeare in the Park....er... RAIN" last night!

not to derail the thread, but I'm trying to get back into sat net. I still have my starband equipment, but if that gives me the same issues as I had before, I'll try Hughes. What dealer did you go through?

power out for only about 10-15 mins in Kapoho.

Force,
We used Big Island Satellite. Only issues we've dealt with were a couple (twice) heavy cloud issues (rain fade) rolling in from the coast, down time about 5 minutes each of the 2 times. Other than that... works as well as one can expect from a non-cable based internet provider.
