Puna Men's Chorus Holidazed Concerts
#1
Puna Men's Chorus will "herald your hearts" into the holidays with traditional holiday tunes in very non-traditional settings.

We have three exceptionally entertaining evenings in store for you, featuring holiday music sung by your favorite singing men with guest artists Amy Yamasaki and Susanella Noble.

The tunes we present will all be familiar. However, we’ve mashed songs together, re-written words, added narration, and of course, mixed in just the right touch of Puna spice to create a uniquely fresh, mostly secular, and often hilarious collection of arrangements that honor the many traditions and belief systems. Naturally, we will have a spectacular Sing Along too!

You’ve come to expect to be dazzled and amazed at our shows, so please get ready for another opportunity! We may even be able to bring a different feel to your holidays this year!

Friday, December 3rd at the Palace Theater in Hilo

Saturday, December 4th at the Hawaiian Paradise Park Homeowner’s Association Activity Center in Puna located at 15-1570 Maku’u Drive Keaau, HI 96749.

Friday, December 10th at the Kilauea Military Camp Theater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The Kilauea Military Camp Theater is located in Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park (off Highway 11), one mile past the Kilauea Visitor Center in the back corner of Kilauea Military Camp.

For all performances, doors open at 7:00 pm and shows start at 7:30 pm.

General $15. Srs (60+) & students $12, kids under 5 free

Please visit www.punamenschorus.org for more event information or contact us at info@punamenschorus.org

Hope to see you all there!

Tonight's the night for the bid show at the Palace!

The "HoliDAZED" dress rehearsal went really well so if you've been on the fence about whether or not to see this musical holiday comedy show at the Palace, then I'd encourage you to come. The stage props, lighting, and sound possible at the Palace is way beyond that which is possible at the HPP pavillion (though the singing will probably be just as good tomorrow night at HPP).

My favorite part at the dress rehearsal was the flute solo- that alone is worth coming to hear, imho.

Also, tonight before the show and during intermission there will be a PMC fundraiser silent auction going on in the Palace lobby. All sorts of cool stuffs and gift certificates available just in time for the holiDAZED.

We missed the first two performances, but have plans to go to the KMC event. Never been to the KMC Theater- I know where the KMC is, but how about park entrance fees?

Park entrance fees are waived for those going to the show! If you arrive after 6:30 or so and just tell them at the gate that you are going to the show at the theatre, they will let you in for free.
