I have a dilemna, my computer died and I just bought a new one, luckily I faithfully back up my Quickbook files on a zipdrive. I tried to download my QB cd for installation on my new computer, but it won't work. I looked at the cd and it somehow got scratched up. I'm stressing because it's year end and lots of stuff to do. I'm hoping I don't have to spend $200. to buy a whole new program. Does anyone have a QB installation cd I may borrow, or know of a way to make the old one work. Not sure if there's a way to retrieve off of my old computer. Mahalo, Angela

Get used to upgrading. Quickbooks is great but they are always coming up with costly upgrades. If you do payroll with it then you are forced to spend a couple of hundred bucks every year or two to keep it working.
