Hawaiian nickel sells for $25,300
#1
This is a bit interesting.... I was not aware of antique Hawaiian coinage before.

A live auction for two rare Hawaiian coins closed with a bid of $43,125 for an 1883 Hawaiian eighth-dollar coin and a bid of $25,300 for an 1881 Hawaiian nickel.

There is a photos of the coins here:

Assume the best and ask questions.

I am not too familiar with the coinage myself. But there are a few Hawaiian stamps that can bring similar prices. My personal favs are the US bills that were issued during WWII.

I have an old transport token from Honolulu that has a hula girl on it. It's silver and really cool looking. Anyone else know about these cool coins?
