Anybody know what's planned for the newly cleared land across from the Post Office in Pahoa? It's a pretty large space...

The rumor I just heard was that there is a multi-story apartment complex and offices planned. Mind you, this is a RUMOR and I have no idea how accurate it is. I suppose a call to the planning department or the building dept. would yield more info.

It is unfortunate that they have started out by destroying a huge beautiful pink-flowered Camellia sinensis and a variegated hala.
