County is starting a FREE E-WASTE collection once a month at Hilo Transfer and Recycling Center. It will be held 4th Saturday of the month starting October 22, TVs is one of the items they will be accepting []

This is a list of the E-waste collections around island:

Staring Oct. 1 the county will collect residential e waste (including TV, Computers & other electronics) on a rotating basis:
Waiohinu Transfer Station (Puna) 1st Sat of the month
Waimea Transfer Station 2nd Sat of the month
Kealakehe Transfer Station 3rd Sat of the month
Hilo Transfer Station 4th Sat of the month

Commercial e-waste will be collected at the Hilo transfer station only, on the last friday of the month, by appointment only and tipping fees will apply.
