Mini Garage Sale Sunday -- good cause

First Mini-Garage sale for “Hui Pono Holoholona” on March 18, Sunday from noon ‘til 3:30pm at the Ola’a Community Center located in old Kea’au Middle School Cafeteria across from McDonald’s. All monies go into the spay-and-neuter fund for dogs and cats for the organization “Hui Pono Holoholona” (People doing morally right helping the animals). Various items for sale are: rice cookers, candle stick holders, glass cooking ware, lamps, pupu platter ware, blankets, many misc. {If you have additional good items to contribute please call Frannie at 968-8279.} Come talk story, about our new organization.

The first official meeting of Hui Pono Holoholona will be held April 7, from 1pm to 3pm at Ola’a Community Center. HPH’s aloha goal is to stop animal overpopulation humanely by making available no-cost or truly affordable low-cost spay & neuter for the island people’s dogs and cats and for caregivers of cat colonies. Everyone has their strengths in making this organization the best. We need your help to raise monies via garage sales, grant writing, sponsoring various events, etc. Any and all your ideas are welcome, bring your compassion, your kindness, and determination to become proactive in stopping animal overpopulation which leads to abandonment, unnecessary euthanasia of healthy animals at the shelters, and animal abuse.
