Calf

What I don't know would fit in a football stadium, to overflowing possibly!!

So, this morning we have a calf. I didn't know we had one on the way. Any of you really cow knowledgable want to come see what is going on and fill me in o information.... we have four more cows but i have NO IDEA if they could be pregnant. I know sheep but not cows. A sheep "bags up" a week or two before she gives birth. This cow didn't get an udder full of milk until this morning and then a baby popped out! Sheesh! I don't know WHAT to look for in the rest. We have one Dexter Bull but he is so short we didn't think he could reach. i think he got lucky while the girl(s) were laying down relaxing. Goodness!!!!!

reminds me of the time I went to the auction and got two weaner pigs to raise for meat. Went out to feed one morning and found 13 baby piglets! Hadn't been aware the pig was preggers when I bought her. Her name changed to "Mama Hog"that very day.
