Lyric translation and musical phrasing
#1
I am hoping someone can point me in the right directiion, please.
I write church type and other music lyrics in English, and need someone to help me to incorporate the already translated into Hawai'ian lyrics in proper musical flow and phrasing (if that is the correct word) into the existing music or alternate music. I am hoping to have the music ready for the annual Aha Himeni at our church in October. Mahalo for your help,
Jim

The only person I can think of who would be able to do this (and do it properly), would be Louis Hao's wife, who is also a kumu and Kahu at the church in Keaukaha. The ohana here know her as "Aunty Leify". She's a beautiful woman with a pure heart, and a white aura.

Good luck!

You may want to also check with the UHH Hawaiian Language Dept...as this does sound like a good student project. Link:
