I saw a pair of nene on my bike ride a couple days ago. They were on Beach Rd. at the Pahoa side of what is County Park land. Great to see them.
We once owned a German Shorthair that was death to any birds including ones that flew. Thankfully we got rid of that one. I don't know if it was the breed or just the individual dog but we'll never own another German Shorthair.
