With 59.1% of the vote at this print out, looks like District 4 has a new councilman.

Greggor has run a smart campaign, and I have high hopes for his future on the Council. Congratulations Greggor!

Congratulations are in order for Greggor.
Let's hope he learns quickly.
With the turnover in the County Council this time,
he may/ will have a good chance to become an effective rep
for District 4.

Hopefully Greggor and Zendo can coordinate efforts and work in concert to benefit Puna

I hope we all can support these two young men and that they will give Puna active, visible representation that does not rely solely on the good graces of volunteers but which uses all of the tools of government on behalf of our district.

Congratulations to Greggor. It will be nice to have a new face on council. I wish him the best.

Fred Blas and Emily Naeole both had wonderful opportunities to succeed and blew it for different reasons. I was as hopeful for Fred on his election as I am now for Greggor. Fred, in my opinion, was just too detached for Puna to last long. Nice guy, well intentioned and great street cred but it just wasn't enough. I think we will see Fred out and about doing the community efforts he made his chops on..... unlike Emily who disappeared once the county check stopped.

Wait are you saying Greggor smokes pot and still has all the energy to wave every morning, be everywhere, talking to every one and still smart enough to be a air force satellite telemetry engineer. This is like Michael Phelps all over again, I am starting to think pot is a performance enhancing drug.

Nice to see you having a good time Zilgore.
As for Fred, maybe he can straighten out the Sears tire and auto operation
in Hilo.
They need Fred's help badly it seems from what I've heard.
