Wireless is line of sight so it is difficult to translate performance in one location to another even in close proximity. Specifically, all the bets are off if you have a dense stand of trees between you and the transmitter tower. Your only choices would be to find a clearing and run a long cable to your house, put the antenna on a tower high enough to clear, or clear the trees. You can make up for distance using a high gain antenna as long as you have clear line of sight.
