Anyone else out there sneezing their noses off?
I've heard a lot of other sneezes lately all over Puna. What in the world can it be?

Coquis with a cold? (sorry, just couldn't resist)
Could be Mac Nuts...with the dry weather - could be any & all pollen - usually gets washed out of the air...a lot of people have also been commenting on the mangos for this year, dry years are better for them

Yes, it could be pollen. Could also be Vog. I have never been effected by pollen but certainly seem to be with SO2, H2S and what ever else is in there. Horrible lately on the east side, at least Hilo and south. It causes my eyes to tear, and much coughing, sneezing, nose blowing, and lethargy. Starts immediately when the wind comes from the SW or West - direct line from Pu‘u O‘o for me, or when the wind has been stagnant or swirling around from all directions. Geeze, just about all the time, I guess, lately.

Coqui's with colds?! That's pretty darned funny, Ms Carey! Just think what that would be like! There are a lot of mangos this year but since they're already ripening I wonder - do they still have flowers too? Gotta check on that one...and Mac nuts..hmmm, lots of those are nearby. Bamboo orchids? Could be, I suppose. Yes it has been a bit voggy too. Kona winds knocked down a couple of big trees where I live last week. Well, I've discovered that the best night-time remedy for anything is awa. Had some last night and couldn't wake up even to sneeze. Aaah!

Mitzi, if you want our plant, come on down! (We're at an age where we need the kick starts of caffeine....)

Thanks Carey! Say, I wonder if spraying awa instead of lime would make for a kinder gentler coqui noise solution....Har har har!

Know I'm picturing buzzed froggies, hangin' loose. "Dude, chill man. If she really wants you, she'll come around. Reelaxxx"
