How do they pour slabs in Puna (code compliant)

Like Daniel said, this will be called out in your house plans that you submit to the building dept assuming you get a building permit which I highly recomend. my 24x24 garage slab pour was around 6k with concrete and labor and gravel etc.

Yes I do plan on permitting, just getting an idea of the process's that can be used out there. I figured with no frost line you could have a slab on grade, but wanted check on here. Thanks everyone.
