Cheap and plentiful water.
Cheap and plentiful tropical fruit.
Clean air.
Clean water.
No heating/air conditioning expense.
No road rage.
No tolls.
kind, considerate & caring doctors & nurses.
Great local University.
Outstanding teachers (I know...my wife is one!)
Top notch police & firemen/women.

Why my wife enjoys living in paradise...
5 time zones from her mother-in-law.

Why my pets enjoying living in paradise...
Constant stream of geckos to chase.

And finally....I'm serenaded every evening by the lullaby of the coquis!

I love having a tiny house here. I love having so much fresh food and fish here. I love the variety of people here. I love the school schedule here. I love the variety of terrain here. I love running into people I know, everywhere I go, and I love the timechange from the mainland because it means that an insomniac like me, can follow stocks or do other business in the middle of the night. Basically the list is pretty short of what I dont like. Not having hot water all the time would be on that list. (too expensive)
