I didn't know they were shut down , and it will be interesting to see if the H2S smell around Pahoa , which has totally abated since I mentioned it a month or 2 ago on this forum, returns with the start of their operations.

Also, I didn't hear the Civil Defense message that was at 7:05 am today, and I wonder if anyone else has heard a rebroadcast of the notification.

Yes, it was broadcast numerous times today. On the way from Leilani to the transfer station and to the P.O. to pick up a package and back I heard it at least two different times. Actually, it might have been three but I know for sure at least two times. That was around 11 or 11:30'ish.

Heard the announcement many times today. The plant was off line for maintenence from august 18,and being restarted today.
