Many areas of Puna have cable, so roadrunner access is available. Check with Oceanic.

Naomi,
You can also try Coconut Wireless at http://www.coconut-wireless.net/# Phone: 930-0100 Looking at their coverage map, they cover almost all of the Puna District. The initial out lay of money is a little pricey, but not too far out of line with mainland prices. I have wireless DSL that I installed myself and the equipment cost me ~$450.00. And that was two years ago. My monthly charge is $49.00. Wireless DSL is a lot better than dial-up, but is not as fast as cable. It works okay in most weather conditions. Good Luck! David D
