Last week I called the HPPOA office to ask why the newsletter (The Conch) wasn’t up to date on their web site. Apparently, the people who had been producing it just stopped after the January issue, with no particular reason given. I (perhaps suffering from heat and humidity) offered to help with the next issue (due in September). Said offer was readily accepted with the suggestion that an article introducing the new president and board might be a good idea. So, to that end, I'm asking here for any suggestions from HPP residents regarding what questions they’d like to have answered. An unrelated post on one of the HPP Facebook sites listed the following … “Who Are These People? What are their qualifications? How long have they lived in HPP? When was this vote?” Frankly, those are questions best asked pre-election rather than post, but I’ll do my best. I’ve been offered a face-to-face meeting with all the new electees and I’m hoping for questions a bit more specific and without the thinly veiled vitriol. So, If you’re an HPP resident and have an honest concern you’d like addressed, please email me via Punaweb (or post here on this thread), and I’ll do my best to get a response from the appropriate board member (You do know which HPP district you live in, don’t you?)
