Lava tree area still closed this afternoon, Lava Tree Park will not be the same....so much tree damage!
Last report on warm ponds, (this am) still closed due to priority clean up... but that report may have been made a day ago

FYI:
http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/break...=271396811 A week after Iselle slammed into Hawaii island, the state issued a brown water advisory from Cape Kumukahi lighthouse to Kalapana on Hawaii island, saying the tropical storm's aftermath is still affecting the waters off Puna. "Although the flood and storm water runoff may not be brown, the public is advised to stay out of inland and coastal waters in the affected areas due to possible overflowing cesspools, sewer manholes, pesticides, animal fecal matter, dead animals, pathogens, chemicals, and associated flood debris," said the advisory issued by the Department of Health's Clean Water Branch late Thursday. The advisory also notes that turbid runoff may have included dead animals, which can attract sharks.

Closed as of 10am for more tree clearing...I think that this will be the case for a long time (at least until all of the poles are taken care of... really odd to see all of the pole heads just "flying" on lines with no pole bottoms!

Yep. Closed for work during the day and opened in the evenings. The lines are only part of the problem since the Kapoho substation was itself damaged during the storm.
