Kapoho Beach Lots?

Sorry if I've missed this, but how is the area of Kapoho Beach Lots? Lots of info on damage and status of Vacationland area but not so for KBL. Did It receive similar damage being an oceanfront community? We have friends coming to stay there in a few weeks and they can't get good "straight" info from the property mgmt company. Mahalo.

Nobody has been able to get down there until a day or two ago. There was one estimate that 30 houses got flattened, don't know how reliable that is. There are multiple sites with photo slideshows. The houses on the waterfront survived, at least their concrete stilts did.
