Poor Greggor Doesn't "Get" Tinder
#1
An effort to reach out to constituents goes horribly wrong...Gregor set up a Tinder account, and asked men and women to swipe right if they supported him. The results ween't quite what he expected...<rolling eyes> Warning, there are some curse words in the report

Wow, gullible isn't he? I met him during Iselle, thought he couldn't be over seventeen. Guess that's about right.

I heard him interviewed on NPR about it. The interview went off as a low level human interest story. Nothing lost, nothing gained.
Assume the best and ask questions.

"the most naive guy in America", yep, great for a Puna rep.

Rob is correct

But it's:
Nothing ventured nothing gained.

We like Greggor. But the wife and I laughed so hard watching that clip. could he have been so damn naive? Someone in his campaign dropped the ball.

How in the world do you get on Tinder without knowing it is a dating app? That is almost like going into an adult store and picking out a really nice motorized massager for his mother. Not naive, just totally out of it.

Of course he knew it was a dating site!

Actually "Naive" is a spin the TYT video put on this not the NPR original story. I think TYT are the ones who are naive, recruiting young singles is hardly a new campaign tactic.

They did make it funny which was their goal and is a welcome change in politics, the national stuff makes you want to cry.

My first foray into politics was canvasing for John Lindsay (for Mayor of NY). On any given day there were maybe eight to fifteen young women at his headquarters, and we paired up to go out campaigning. It was a new experience for many of us, it was fun.

Thinking about it now his headquarters was a dating site, it just wasn't on-line.

Oh, he won by the way.
