Reminded me of the only frog poem I know, and in my top ten:
David Wagoner (1926- ) THE POETS AGREE TO BE QUIET BY THE SWAMP They hold their hands over their mouths And stare at the stretch of water. What can be said has been said before: Strokes of light like heron’s legs in the cattails, Mud underneath, frogs lying even deeper. Therefore, the poets may keep quiet. But the corners of their mouths grin past their hands. They stick their elbows out into the evening, Stoop, and begin the ancient croaking. === Cheers, Kirt

lovely.
I played the video, but couldn't hear it over the coquis... There was a lovely song in UH's production of "Hilo, Da Musical" last year, "Learn to Love the Coquis." I think the program had the lyrics, but I lost it.
