I met John & his wife about 10 years ago. They peppered their conversations with a lot of talk about the Lord back then. I had a free car they wanted to take for "a worker" but the only time they could pick it up was at 6 AM.

I said fine, I'm up anyway. They pulled into my driveway talking extremely loud, just shy of shouting, but not angry, just asking questions about the free car and how the Lord would bless me for this generous contribution to His work. I tried to get them to quiet down so they didn't wake up the neighborhood, John managed somewhat, but his wife was locked in at 11 on the volume control.

I never saw them again. Maybe the Lord did bless me in that way.

Eric - I posted this the other day although it's dropped off Punatalk's front page, so you may have missed it. Punatic007 gave a little bit of history there which seems to tie in with HOTPE's account.
