Monday night in Hilo, what some might call a school night.
10 PM. A 17 year old in the shooter's car. Four 18 and 19 year old kids getting shot at. Some would say the lack of educational opportunities on the Big Island might lead kids into dangerous situations like this. Others may ask, how far away is Puainako Center from UHH or the Community College? So near, and yet so far... Nonsense. These kids were obviously having a "self-sponsored" firearms safety training.
