The Blood Bank of Hawaii has a blood drive on the Big Island about every 8 weeks.

My wife and I donate regularly when he Blood Bank folks set up shop here. Being in Puna, we find the Kamehameha School location most convenient. Folks are friendly, professional and have plenny ono kau kau. Presumably this blood is kept on the Big Island though I have never asked. Or, like the majority of you whiners, you can sit on your fat okoles and do nothing.
