Correct.Even USGS doesn't call them earthquakes. They say they are equivalent to a 5.x. They rate that high because the collapse event is right by the meters. I don't think they should even publish it as the rating system is not for a collapse event. I could jump next to the sensor and probably make a 1.5, but that doesn't make it a quake.

MBB, As I noted this EQ was also a little deeper than most of the recent quakes( many of the recent quakes are less than 1 mile & most are under 3 miles deep)... deeper quakes are normally felt over a larger area...
