Cockroaches
#11
We had an invasion of those insidious German Cockroaches. About 1 year ago. I got the Combat roach bait, not the bait stations but the one that comes in a big syringe. The stuff dries up in about a day so I put some out fresh every night for a couple of weeks. It worked great. Haven't seen any since.
One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.

Thanks for all your replies! The invasion only lasted one evening. Someone said they swarm sometimes - why do they do that?

The B - 52s we call them .
Our cats and chickens love them.

Tis the season for the B-52s

Not sure but I'm guessing it has something to do with pheromones.

There's always been a time of year when the b-52's take flight. Just remember: When it happens and you get your cockroach killers, (rubber slipper) and smack one down, there will invariably be at LEAST one or two more that will swoop down towards you, (seemingly attacking) and beg for that shoe swatting death too.
