New bakery open in Pahoa Village - Bananarama
#1
We have a new bakery in Pahoa Village.  A first for the town in my knowledge.
Bananarama.  Bread, rolls, cakes and other pastries.
Check it out and let us know what you think.  Support a new start up.
Across from the old Luquin's location.
Mahalo.

Assume the best and ask questions.

Had breakfast at Pele's Kitchen the other day and gained 5 lbs peering through the window at Bananarama the day before they opened.

Bananarama will be amazing if they just keep doing what they have been doing in Puna in places like the Saturday farmers market in Kalapana.

That said, Pahoa has had a bakery for a while now.

But other pastries seals the deal.

Hope they do well.  Tin Shack makes really good stuff too. Great breads, soup, pastrami sandwiches, good lattes. Used to go there at nights for some good eats and live music. Pre Covid of course.
