It's been awhile since I've been on the Big Island.

Who are the Local Big Island Groups that I "SHOULD" be listening to of late?

I'm open to all varieties.

I was at the Outpost Cafe and I noticed a flyer for some bands that were going to play at "Shaka's" and I hadn't heard of any of them.

So who is the up and coming music group that you enjoy on the Big Island?

Don't know about newbie groups, but I would love to see sashaman(sp?) playing, so if anyone knows about that please let me know [:p]

Twisted Tree is a Kurtistown band--alternative/rock. They play at Shaka's every once in a while.

They recorded a CD a little while back at my SO's studio, but I don't think they have released it yet. Should be upcoming...
