Ok... this is going to sound so lame, but I am compling a bunch of Hawaiian/Beach music for a friend's son's iPod. I keep hearing this song, I Like To Surf on KAPA and they never show the artist. I have looked on iTunes and done Google searches but cannot find out how to buy this song for him. DOES anyone have any suggestions????
I know it is a silly song, but he is a silly kid and I think he will really like it.

Damon,
Thanks for trying for me! No, that is not the song... but I like it! I just bought the album. I would like that song on my own iPod! I will put it on the CD for my friend's son's playlist too.
KAPA FM plays this song quite a lot, but they did not answer our e-mails about it, so I htought someone from here, particularly someone with kids might know.

That could be it...the title is right, but the CD is out of print and they don't have any links. You have come closer to finding it than I did in weeks of searching. Maybe I can find a copy of the CD on e-bay or somewhere. I did a google search and came up empty.

And Damon, I liked the song You Don't Write too. Glad you got over that one! Nothing like heartbreak to get a song in your heart. That song is extra "catchy" too.
I listen to KAPA and write down the artists and songs I like, then buy them. We also have an internet radio service where you can download the songs to iTunes as they are playing. There are several Hawaiian stations on that. It is helping us get into the terrific local music. So much of it we had never heard! If you have other favorites let me know. I think we have all of the IZ CD's and many other individual songs from various local artists. If you have anyother favorites, let me know!
