Impasse (termite) blocker - no longer available?

It was an interesting device,preventing termites to go further.Some builders put it over the peers.Was ETA approved.

Seems very interesting, appearently is also serves as a sealer to keep water out until the roof goes on. And a lifetime limited warranty.

Anyone know how to sound the bldg dept or EPA for clearance of same? A lot of people still like and want wood, but with the restrictions they put out (for good reason I understand) it's only a matter of time before it'll be unfeasable. Like latex paint used to all be junk, the new formulations are better than what we had before(in oil). Eventually they'll come up with somthing that works and is safe all around.
