#1
Could one of our fine members in real estate tell me which of the 4 subdivisions in the beaches does NOT have CCR's, and what streets border it?

Do you mean Hawaiian Beaches? None here (Thank God) all of Hawaiian Beaches roads are County owned and Maint.

The one I'm referring to has no dues or restrictions.

I think that would be Hawaiian Beaches...

I'm wanting to know the actual blocks it encompasses. I was thinking of building 2 small cottages instead of a house and having a few laying hens & don't want to look at lots where that's not allowed. I know it's on Kahakai, but which side, and between which side streets?

This link is to a map on John Mydock's website that shows all 4 subdivisions of "Hawaiian Beaches" and their boundaries.

I've been told that only Hawaiian Shores Rec Estates has CCRs. There's an listing on HSRE's website of all TMKs included, but according to the map link above, it does not touch Kahakai at all, so you may not need the listing.

Thanks for that link. Looks like TMK block 76 to 87 is where I need to look. Wow! I wonder who laid that confusing mess out!

There are four subdivisions there, Hawaiian Beach Estates, Hawaiian Parks, Hawaiian Shores and Hawaiian Shores Recreational Estates. I don't work that area but your agent should know the answer to your question. If he/she doesn't than get a new agent! [Smile][Smile][Smile]

Only Hawaiian Shores Rec Estates has CC&Rs. Some once described the division bet. Hawaiian Shores/Hawaiian Shores Rec as looking like the developers must have gone through a divorce...the lines marking your "entrance" into HSRE are painted in white on the streets.

BTW--Water service is now available from Hawaiian Beaches Water Company in other sections besides HSRE. (Used to be Miller & Leib) There was a wait list last year, but not sure if that is still the case. You can reach them at 808-965-9882--they will need your TMK number.
