Real estate is a tough business, indeed! There is one good thing about these tough times. A friend who has her own real estate brokers office tells me that when the market collapses like it has, all of those newbies who entered the field thinking it was easy money disappear, leaving business to the true professionals like yourself.

Years ago I considered a real estate career, thinking it to be a lucrative choice. I was surprised at just how low the typical real estate agent's income is. Even worse, I was surprised to see how much variation there is from year to year in income.

It's even tougher for brokers like myself, because I did have some of those agents who thought the grass was greener at the other side of the fence.
