Just noticed this at the bottom of the last newsletter, apparently it really was the LAST newsletter - why???

Editor’s Note:

Please note that with the current County administration approaching the end of its second term, the County newsletter will cease publication with the October 31, 2008 edition. It has been a great pleasure to serve all of our readers. A Hui Hou!

The editor of the publication is Mike Ben, the appointed Human Resources Director. The Human Resources Director that succeeds him will be the one to decide whether or not to publish a county newsletter. That is likely the reason, but I don't know for sure.
