In a past post, someone said they knew people who said 'they had NOT paid their road maintenance fees for 10 or more years.
There's the rumor mill running amok in HPP again.
It may be 3 years ago, but the HPPOA BOD addressed this issue and took actions against delinquent lot owners.
ALL delinquent lot owners were idendified.
ALLwere noticed.
ALLoff shore delinquent property owners were contacted to pay outstanding fees.
That required getting current addresses, etc. contacting Embassies, and going through the Word Court in the Hague, Netherlands.
In some instances, lot owners had died and the property was owned by an heir.
HPPOA had to lein the properties, before foreclosure, and tax sale. This was done.
All these records are in the HPPOA Minutes.
"Don't believe all you hear." There are years upon years of idle chatter that swirl around HPPOA. I'm convinced that some people get their jollies by confrontation and out right lies.
It's the old story, if you tell a lie often enough to enough people, some people begin to believe it's true.
