I found a very good free tide table for Hilo. It shows the current day and the coming 5 days (or week0. It is in a wave-like graphic form and shows high/low tides w/times, sunset/sunrise. Very simple to use with no need to add or subtract.

Thanks for that. I have been using the one on the Big Island Weather page at instanthawaii.net, but this one has sun and moon times on it too. What has been people's experience with snorkeling and the tides? Especially Kapoho? Laura and I went last week and the tide was VERY high. The water was very choppy and the murkiest I've seen it there (the waves were coming onto the shore above the rocks, pulling dirt into the water).
Another question, do we get minus tides here?

Time is an illusion, but a handy one. Without it, we would not be able to hear sounds, and without that ability, we would have no music.

Yes, Glenn, there are times when the low tide is negative.
