Hey, Dad got resourceful and scouted Goodwill and Salvaton army; I don't know which one but he scored a second bike. The two older kids are on wheels! That means Isa can pick up a third and we are DONE!!! ANOTHER great example of just a little help and Punatics helping one another.
Isa, be in touch.
Aloha, Pam

That's so cool. I can just picture the family on their bikes out on weekend rides, laughing and discovering new places. Maybe its just nostalgia, but that's a heart-warming image.

Hey Pam, Jim just got 3 bikes at Keaau transfer that he thinks can be made into two bikes, a 20" (needs seat & tuneup & possibly inner tubes) & 2 12" (1 donor & one needing new pedals, tires, tuneup & possibly inner tubes). This is all on fisrt look, he has them soaking in lube tonight & is SUPPOSED to look at them tomorrow, so call him...Both of the recipient bikes have a little surface rust that we plan to clean & spray paint (hammered metallic grey paint) so they should look ok if the mechanics check out tomorrow...So maybe the kids will only need helmets & a friend!
Aloha, Carey
