We have found that VRBO works very well for us. Craigslist generates many spam emails. (Legal and permitted, Devany!) In addition, most of the vacation rentals on VRBO in our area are legal/permitted.
We respond typically via an email or phone call to an email inquiry because typically the times differences affect phone call response time. Although we did have one person say "I emailed you 3 hrs ago. Why didn't you respond quicker?" I did respond at 7:30 AM AKST.
