Thnx, Rob, for the info. I had planned to go to the meeting but something personal came up. I really appreciate your posting.
BTW, while the Shower Dr/Hwy 130 portion of the highway construction is projected for 18 months, the DOT people at Monday's highway meeting in Keaau said the entire Hwy 130 construction is expected to take 8 (as in eight) years (about what I had expected) and the state has already approved lowering the speed limit from Kapoho thru to Keaau to no more than 45 mph. At least, that's what I heard.
I'm putting this out there not to criticize or provoke, just FYI.
