Andrew, you are soooo on it! I was just sitting down to address this very subject.
We need someone to go get the spot at o-dark'early..... and it can't be me but I am totally up for the beach for the 4th. What better excuse for an afternoon bbq? I think we can have a great time if there will be any who don't have other plans, so it is pretty important to let us know if you will be coming... only so we will stake out a large enough area. It will likely be crowded. How does everyone feel about moving down to the sandy beach area for just this time? I have four kids who will be in the water and that is where I will have to spend my time. There is a double picnic bench down there we could try to snag.  Let us know.... post here..... please join us if you don't have other plans.... or come stay a while if you have plans for later. PamI want to be the kind of woman that, when my feet hit the floor each morning, the devil says "Oh Crap, She's up!"

With such a meager response, my house FULL of kids and a few who pretend to be grown ups have voted to stay home in the rain, curled up by a nice fire, watching all the Indiana Jones Movies. Sometimes a lazy is just what is called for. Sorry if any of you are left in the lurch at the beach, but it doesn't look like anyone was really coming (except John, who is welcome to come watch Indiana Jones movies with us if he wants to!!! LOL).
